Technically the Yamaha DX 5 is the same like the Yamaha DX 1, but without wooden case and its 76 keys are cheaper.
Usage in Kitaro's music:
It was used in concerts in the 80th and in the beginning of the 90th. But I don't know if it was used for studio albums.
