The Roland SH3a is the successor of the SH3, a not so often produced and sold synthesizer. Some people say the SH3 has a better sound than the SH3a. The SH3a has 44 keys and is a funky member of the "SH series".
Usage in Kitaro's music:
In some booklets the SH3 is mentioned, in others the SH3a. Maybe Kitaro owns both or in some booklets the "a" (of SH3a) dropped.
