The first compact and affordable synthsizer that hit the market. It is one of the most famous synthesizer ever created and even today high demanded. It has a warm and nice sound. In the history of Minimoog you can find 4 models: Model A - D. Model D is the most sold version and "the version" that represents the Minimoog for most people. In 2002 a remake came out, the "Minimoog Voyager". It has several new features (MIDI, 3-D touchpad, etc.). In 2004 Moog brought out a "Minimoog Voyager Anniversary Edition".
Usage in Kitaro's music:
I have read that the Minimoog was Kitaro's first synthesizer and he still owns and uses this instrument. Mainly for bass-sounds.
