Moog Music Inc.

The Theremin is an instrument that was developed in 1918/19 by the Russian Lev Termen (later renamed to Leon Theremin). You can see two antennae. Approaching these antennae with your hands regulates the pitch resp. softens the volume. You can create very interesting sounds - and terrible sounds, too. You need skills and training to play the Theremin good. It is built by several companies, but Bob Moog created the first MIDI version of a Theremin.

Usage in Kitaro's music:

Kitaro used it on his European Tour 1998 (the wooden case with the antennas).
