The "Wavedrum" is a real synthesizer, that is played like a percussion instrument. When you hit the drum, the informationen about your beat is transformed into digital information and the synthesizer calculates and creates a sound from it. It is a very interessting instrument, the weight is about 7.5 kg and the price is still over 1000 Euro.
Usage in Kitaro's music:
In concerts the Wavedrum is not played by Kitaro but part of the percussion setup.
