The Korg 01/W FD was the successor of the Korg 01/W, which was not the successor of the Korg M1 but it was based on it. It was a big success for Korg.
Usage in Kitaro's music:
You can see this machine in concerts (always played by other musicians than Kitaro). Sounds of the 01/W series are easy to find on several Kitaro CDs.
