My opinion:

The problem of this soundtrack is the same problem that a lot of soundtracks have: only in connection with the pictures the music is really good. I bought the soundtrack first and some songs (for example "Sure Shot") really irritated me. But when I saw the series later everything fits perfectly.
The songs by Kitaro are in his used quality and nice to listen to. Peter McEvilley is really able to compose in different styles. But you shouldn't expect a normal studio album with all songs fitting together, because the songs are not composed for this purpose. So if you hope to get something like Kojiki, Silk Road or Sacred Journey of Ku-Kai, you shouldn't buy this album. You also cannot compare it with Queen Millennia. All other fans I can recommend it.
